The $30 annual donation paid to the FHSU Alumni Office is tax-deductible. This donation, minus a small administrative fee, will be added to the FHSU's Alumni Generational Scholarship fund and programs in recognition of student achievements.

What if I have already renewed my tag for this year?

You will be eligible to immediately switch from your current tag to the Tiger tag for a minimal fee aside from the $45.50 special plate fee.

How can I get a personalized Tiger Tag?

Personalization of distinctive plates became available in 2025! Anyone who wants a personalized Tiger Tag can check this website for customized phrase availability: https://www.kdor.ks.gov/Apps/MotorVehicles.

This website is updated every 24 hours, so your search result does not guarantee the plate availability. You will need to visit your local Kansas county DMV/treasurer's office to purchase the new plate, and they can give final say at the time of purchase what is available.

If personalizing, there is an additional one-time cost of $40.

Can I order a Tiger Tag for my motorcycle?

Stay tuned, FHSU motorcycle plate availability is coming in 2026.

What do I do if I receive a ticket from an out of state toll authority that is not for my tag?

We have been made aware that some FHSU Tiger Tag holders have received tickets from out-of-state tolling authorities that are not actually for their tag. Since Kansas shares the same license plate numbers with different styles of license plates, this may happen (ex. K-State tag 3456 and FHSU tag 3456).

Whenever a toll statement is received from a toll agency that has the same license plate number as yours but is a different license plate style, please email a copy of the statement to HELP@DRIVEKS.COM and the Kansas Turnpike Authority will contact the toll agency that sent the statement and advise that the incorrect owner was charged and have them bill the correct owner.
